Halo Place is a short-term rental property located in eastern Trinidad. We operate as an independent, owner-managed property. For the purposes of this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the property owner. Enquiries can be directed to us via the Contact page.

When you make an enquiry or booking, we may collect the following information:
- Your name and contact details (email address, phone number)
- Your intended check-in and check-out dates
- Number of guests and any specific requirements
- Payment information (processed securely; we do not store card details)
- Any communications you send us via WhatsApp, email, or the contact form
We also collect standard website usage data (such as pages visited and browser type) through this website, which may be logged automatically. This data is used only to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information only for the following purposes:
- To process and manage your booking
- To communicate with you about your stay
- To send you check-in instructions and other stay-related information
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data will not be used to send you unsolicited communications.
4. Data Retention
We retain booking records for up to three years for accounting and legal purposes. Enquiry data that does not result in a booking is deleted within 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see Section 6 below.

7. Third-Party Platforms
Halo Place is also listed on third-party platforms including Airbnb and Booking.com. Bookings made through those platforms are subject to their respective privacy policies in addition to ours. If you book directly with us, only our policy applies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of this website after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
